You are invited to join the Shamanic Community of Austin for the
Spring 2019 Outdoor Retreat: Journey Circle and Campout.

THREE nights of community and ceremony! Come camp for one, two or all three nights! Come out for our Community Circle and potluck dinner on Saturday, if you are not camping!

Join in on the daily activities like…

· Ceremonies, sound healing, journeys, dancing and drumming
· Morning meditations (each morning)
· Labyrinth Caretaker Gathering (Thursday)
· Flute round-table workshop and Flute Journey (Thursday)
· Herbal Exploration Hike (Friday)
· Earth-focused hike with Mandala ceremony (Friday)
· Forest Bathing workshop (Saturday)
· Chief’s Labyrinth Ceremony (Saturday)
· Community Potluck and Journey Circle (Saturday)
· Nature hikes, swimming and water fun
· Creation of sacred objects (rattles and dream catchers)
· Activities, Meals and camping are all included in the fee (You are welcome to bring food if on special diets or to share with the community.)
Event Schedule
When: Campout Thursday, April 11th through Sunday, April 14, 2019.
Community Journey Circle and potluck will begin Saturday, the 13th at 5:00pm.

Cost: $10 per person per day ($30 for the full campout).
We request you make your payment as soon as possible as this money covers camping fees, food and other workshop items. You may pay Nate directly with cash, check or credit card or PayPal directly to accounting@shamaniccommunityaustin.com

All contributions are welcome.

There is also a $5 per person/per day park entrance fee; please be prepared for this when arriving at the park.

For the Community Journey Circle on Saturday evening, there is no fee, although contributions are welcomed. Park entrance fee does apply. Please bring a potluck dish!

Please join us in a sacred manner but with the expectation of having fun!

General Rules and Information:
• This is a family friendly event, children are welcome!
• This is a no-pets event… sorry.
• If you own a pickup and would be willing to assist with hauling things out to camp on Thursday, please let us know.
• Camping committee will be arriving by noon on the first day. Come and help us setup if you wish! Pick your camp spot!
• There will be several on-site jobs where we need your help and we will have signup sheets for.
• If anyone is in need of camping supplies to use, please speak up so we can arrange for people to bring extra tents/sleeping bags, etc.
• If your plans change, please edit your RSVP status.

• This is an alcohol/drug-free event. Please respect the sacredness of Circle and of other attendees. SCA does not use or promote the uses of Shamanic Teacher Plants to enhance the journey experience. Please understand and respect our policy.
