Welcome! The Shamanic Community of Austin is the place for you if you are looking for a sacred place to explore Spirit in an authentic manner. The intention of this community is to offer a safe, supportive, approachable group that teaches shamanic ideas and practices. We believe in living authentically, with integrity, and in alignment with the values of our community and the will of Spirit in a way that honors the sacredness of all our relations.

If you are in the Austin, Texas area, you might consider joining the . We hold journey circles and classes every week. We also have community gatherings once a quarter, generally around solstices and equinoxes. Members of our Leadership Council also offer occasional workshops, including drum-making and personal development programs.
This group is about learning and experiencing the powerful potential of shamanic techniques and rituals that can be practiced in everyday life. We encourage you to join us, to experience shamanic practice first-hand, and then to test what you learn in your everyday life. This is the way to incorporate spirit guidance and wisdom.
In alignment with our intention to create a safe and supportive, consent-based community, we have developed a Code of Conduct policy. We encourage everyone to read and follow these simple rules of respect for personal space and boundaries. Even if you choose not to participate in our activities, the principles outlined in the policy are useful to know.
The core of this group has been meeting regularly since 2003, but everyone of all experience levels is welcome. As an established group, our circles are supportive, high-energy, and often astounding in content. This group does not use or advocate the use of psychogenic substances.

The intention and purpose of this group are to create a space in which people interested in shamanic living can share experiences, journeys, dreams, ideas, discoveries, and questions for community response. The Austin Shamanic Community page is an outreach of Shamanic Community of Austin, LLC and an outgrowth of the Austin Shamanism Meetup group.
